How it Works

Rachael works from photographs to create the paintings. Once you've placed your order, email Rachael a picture(s) of whoever you'd like in the painting and then Rachael can get to work on creating your piece.

All paintings are framed and mounted in white wooden frames.

If the option for the type of piece you'd like commissioned isn't featured on the website, send us an e-mail and we will work with you to create the perfect painting.

Rachael Darby is an author and illustrator. She has written and illustrated two picture books, Can I Play? and How to Get Rid of a Polar Bear. 'How to Get Rid of a Polar Bear' was shortlisted for and LAI children's book award in 2017. She creates commissioned paintings in the same illustrative style as the books.
